The point is always in the details, the saying goes, and in some areas of industrial security this detail may be as tiny as a speck of dust. In our nationally accredited test laboratory, we carry out complete explosion-safety technical tests of powders with the aim of supporting our partners with reliable and authentic material characteristics. If the hazard and its extent are known, the labor and asset protection risks of the established systems can be minimised.

You can contact our lab manager by phone or by filling out the formula. If you are not sure exactly what tests you would need, outline the technical problem and we will help you navigate the measurements.
Send powder sample
Take a sample of your industrial dust and send it to our site. When sampling correctly, endeavour to ensure that the powder taken is a good representation of the total process dust.
Test
The average test time for one powder sample is 1-2 weeks. If our tests confirm that the powder is not explosive, we will consult with our partners before further testing begins.
Transfer of protocols
After completing the tests, we prepare the minutes in English/German/Hungarian language on request within 3 days.
When is a powder explosive
We wouldn't think so, but ordinary explosions such as sugar, cocoa, grain, or fodder can often pose a greater threat than gas explosions. Because of their large surface area, these are capable of burning or exploding extremely violently at high temperatures and at high speeds due to their large surface area. A powder is almost certainly explosive if it is combustible and contains a significant amount of 0.5 μm smaller fraction. Knowledge of the explosiveness characteristics of process dust is essential for the design, licensing and operation of technological systems.
